Where the mind is in Nirodha

God talks to me many ways. Whenever I seeked him, He was there. Have you experienced it? If there is something troubling the mind, He sends you messages in many ways. It can be through something you read, something you see or someone around you. You just have to listen and He is speaking to you.

I once read - "Invite God as a guest in summer and He will take care of you in winter". The mind is such that it often loses course, deviates and dances to its own tune. The discipline of the mind is instrumental to seeking contentment. If it is left free as a wild stream, it can flow to destroy everything in its path until it is consumed by the learned ocean. So also mind needs to be consumed in the smarana of His name to find bliss. I have found meditation as a wonderful path to contain the wanderings of the mind. To help it find peace.

So as I am wandering in my writing.. what I am trying to convery is the moment you start to seek freedom it must be bound by discipline. Freedom cannot be enjoyed unless it is controlled.

Where the mind is in Nirodha, there is ananda, there is Swarajya.
